We’re here to support your well-being, both physically and mentally. Our Health Services team provides high-quality, confidential healthcare to all undergraduate and graduate students. Located in the Gumberg Library on the 3rd Floor, our Wellbeing Center is accessible through the side entrance near the Brottier commons lawn area. As an in-network provider, we work with most insurance carriers, but don’t hesitate to call your insurance company to verify your coverage in the Pittsburgh area.

We offer same-day appointments
We offer same-day appointments for many services, including care for illnesses, injuries, and routine problems like sexual health. We manage chronic illnesses, provide preventive care and annual wellness exams, and perform physicals for sports, travel, employment, driver's licenses, or volunteer work. Our services include minor procedures, advanced care like EKGs and IV hydration, Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT), Pre-Clinical Health Requirements (PCHR) consultations and testing, and nutritionist consultations. We also offer tuberculosis screenings, allergy shots, ADHD care, blood tests through Quest Labs, immunizations, STI screenings, and services ordered by outside providers. We're here to help with all your health needs!
What you should know about HIPAA?
All visits to Health Services are confidential unless consent is obtained from students to release Protected Health Information. Health Services is in compliance with HIPAA. We can bill your medical insurance or offer self-pay options You may contact Health Services for non-confidential communication. The content of emails sent to DUHS is confidential and limited to general information for Â鶹ֱ²¥ Health Services, but NOT to be used for personal information, advice, or appointment scheduling.

Need a prescription delivered?
Health Services partners with a local retail pharmacy, the UPMC Community Pharmacies, for medication delivery to campus. Medications prescribed by Health Service's providers will be electronically sent to and delivered the same-day by the UPMC Community Pharmacies, unless otherwise specified by the student.
