The University offers a 25% reduction of the basic tuition rate when students register for at least 12 credits (take four courses for the cost of
three!). Some exclusions apply. Examples of exclusions include students who already
receive tuition remission or any other form of a University scholarship or tuition
discount.
Work with your student success coach to determine your appropriate summer course schedule and check out the schedule of
summer classes to register - you can now browse by start dates! Just select Summer
in the dropdown menu and then you can select May, June or July in the Start Date box.
The reduced rate will be applied once you have registered for at least 12 undergraduate
credits.
On-campus housing is available for Duquesne students throughout the summer term. Current
students may qualify for a free room (double room only) while they are enrolled for
6 credits of summer courses.

PA State Grant for eligible undergraduate students who apply for summer funding through
PHEAA
Apply with PHEAA by submitting their by August 15. Note that summer PA State Grant funding uses a semester of eligibility.
Federal Parent PLUS or Private Alternative Loans for students with an approved application
