Federal Student Aid
Duquesne uses the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to award financial
aid. Complete the (DU school code 003258).
Please note this change for divorced or separated parents for 2024-2025: The parent who provided the most financial support to the student will need to provide their information. Previously, the parent who the student lived with the most provided their information.
State and Federal Grants
Starting with the 2024-2025 academic year, students no longer need to start a separate application for the PA State Grant. Instead, Federal Student Aid (FSA) will send your information to Pennsylvania's new GrantUs system when you submit the FAFSA. You will receive an email from NoReply@grantus.pheaa.org to the address you provided on the FAFSA about your to complete the application for the PA State Grant.
and be sure to list Â鶹ֱ²¥ as your first choice so your PA State Grant information will be sent directly to Duquesne. Pennsylvania residents will be required to complete the State Grant Status Notice.

CSS Profile
Families may also consider completing a to get a financial aid estimate. The CSS Profile does not replace the FAFSA for federal aid, but can be helpful when institutional aid is being awarded. Duquesne's CSS code is 2196. There is a fee to create a profile, but you may be eligible for the .
Undergraduate students living in the U.S. may submit CSS Profile for free if:
- Family adjusted gross income is up to $100,000
- The student qualified for an SAT fee waiver
- The student is an orphan or ward of the court under the age of 24
