scholarship opportunities. Qualifications vary and can include high school, county,
major/ discipline, parish, financial need (as determined by the FAFSA) and more. A

Allegheny County Centennial Scholarship: This scholarship is for students who live in the Allegheny County. Students need
a high school GPA of at least a 3.0 and financial need.
Becker Freshman/First-Year Scholarship: Students from Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Washington, or Westmoreland County with
at least a 3.5 high school GPA. This award is renewable if a minimum GPA of 3.2 while
attending Â鶹ֱ²¥.
Richard and Verna Berick Endowed Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students with financial need and a high school GPA
of at least a 2.5.
Beta Pi Sigma Alumni Endowed Scholarship: Beta Pi Sigma has a scholarship opportunity for a child, stepchild, grandchild,
and great grandchild for any alumnus of this fraternity. Students need at least a
3.0 high school GPA and financial need.
Katherine M. Carney Endowed Scholarship: Scholarship for Special Education majors with financial need.
Chicago Alumni Endowed Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students from the Chicago Metropolitan area, including
Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall. McHenry and Will Counties of Illinois;
Jasper, Lake, Newton, and Porter Counties in Indiana; and Lake and Kenosha Counties
in Wisconsin. Financial need is required.
Dr. John A. Clair Endowed Scholarship: This scholarship is for Seminary students with a GPA of at least a 3.0 and financial
need.
Dale Cordial and Michele Cordial Endowed Scholarship: For undergraduate students who have been accepted into any program within the Rangos
School of Health Sciences.
C & S Dougherty Family Endowed Scholarship: Scholarship available for freshman/first-year from Nebraska, New York, Ohio, or
Pennsylvania who attended a Catholic high school with financial need.
Eberly Family Scholarship Fund: This scholarship is for students from Fayette County, PA. Student should have a
high school GPA of at least a 3.0, good moral character and financial need.
Dr. Andrew Glaid Endowed Scholarship: This scholarship is for student majoring in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Mathematics.
Student must demonstrate academic merit at 3.0 or above and financial need.
Leslie Ann Hoover Memorial Endowed Scholarship: This scholarship is for a student enrolled in the School of Nursing with financial
need.
Ken Horvat Memorial Endowed Scholarship: Scholarship available for students graduating from the Apollo Ridge, Kiski Area,
or Leechburg School Districts. Students need at least at least a 3.0 high school
GPA and financial need.
Louis B. Mallet Endowed Scholarship: Provides scholarship support for one incoming first-year student who: will enroll
in the School of Business, meets academic eligibility, and has financial need (as
determined by the FAFSA). Renewable annually for up to eight semesters/four years

Margiotti Endowed Scholarship: This scholarship is available to any incoming freshman/first-year with strong academic
merit of a 3.0 or higher and financial need.
Theodore Meyers Endowed Scholarship: Scholarship available for students with a parent who is a member of the Graphic
Arts International Union Local 24 of Pittsburgh.
Maurice Murphy Scholarship Fund: This scholarship is seeking a student athlete with financial need.
David F. Musick Endowed Scholarship: This scholarship is looking for incoming freshman/first-year from Jeannette High
School with at least a 3.0 GPA and financial need.
Philadelphia Area Alumni Endowed Scholarship: Scholarship available for students from the following counties: Burlington, Camden
and Gloucester Counties in New Jersey; Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia
Counties in Pennsylvania; New Castle, Cecil, and Salem Counties in Delaware.
Dr. and Mrs. Arthur Phillips Scholarship: Scholarship available for residents of Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Crawford,
Jefferson, Lawrence, Mercer, or Venango counties with at least a 3.0 high school GPA
and financial need.
Quinn Family Endowed Scholarship: This scholarship is for students enrolled in Journalism or Multi-Media Art with
at least a 2.5 high school GPA and financial need.
J.W. and Ruth Rahde Scholarship Fund: This scholarship is for students with good leadership skills, character, and involved
in the community; with financial need.
Peter A. Schepis Endowed Scholarship: Scholarship for an incoming freshman/first-year from Pennsylvania in the top 25%
of their high school class with financial need.
J. Lewis Shannon Endowed Scholarship: This scholarship is available for one male and one female student from the Steel
Valley High School with a high school GPA of at least a 3.0 and financial need.
John and Helen Timo Family Endowed Scholarship: This scholarship is for students with Eastern Europe ancestry enrolling in the School
of Pharmacy. Financial need is required.
Dr. Thomas F. and Norma Weir Endowed Scholarship: Offers up to $10,000 per year to an exceptional incoming first-year student pursuing
a degree in Chemistry or Nursing at Duquesne. This prestigious award recognizes academic
achievements, financial need and commitment to chosen field. Applicants must complete
a FAFSA in order for the to be considered. Deadline to apply is January 15.
Rev. Joseph Young Endowed Scholarship: Scholarship for a member of the St. Aloysius Parish in Pittsburgh with a high school
GPA of at least a 3.0 and financial need.
