Minimum qualifications

  • An MD, DO or Advanced Practice nursing degree (MSN or DNP)
  • One year or more in current position

The Â鶹ֱ²¥ School of Nursing is widely recognized as a pioneer in nursing education. Its more than 80 years of rich, innovative history includes Pennsylvania's first BSN program in 1937 and the nation's first online PhD in Nursing program in 1997.

The School of Nursing continues to shape the future of nursing through the creation of evidence-based undergraduate and graduate curricula that is collaborative and flexible, and responsive to industry and technology needs. Graduate Preceptor Sites

Certain graduate courses require students to participate in a clinical preceptorship. A clinical preceptorship is a supervised clinical experience which provides the opportunity for students to apply knowledge gained in the theory portion of the graduate program to clinical practice.

As an enrolled student, you will learn the specific details about your preceptorships in your Canvas course site. Your faculty, clinical coordinator and support team will partner with you to successfully complete your clinical hours.
