Merit Based Financial Awards

All admitted applicants to the One-Year MBA program are considered for merit-based financial awards based on the strength of the application as presented by academic record, standardized scores, school and workplace accomplishments, recommendations and personal essays. Merit awards are offered at the time of admission. Scholarships provide a reduction in tuition*. Individuals with a competitive GPA or GMAT/GRE score may be considered for Fellowship and Graduate Assistantship opportunities which reduce the cost of tuition in return for providing service to the university or community organization in such areas as research, faculty support, or community outreach.**

All candidates are eligible for merit scholarships and may be eligible for one fellowship or graduate assistantship.

*Scholarship opportunities are available for admitted applicants, who do not submit GMAT or GRE.

Scholarship funding is awarded at the time of admission. Fellowship and Graduate Assistantships require additional interviews. Students who wish to receive a Graduate Assistantship and have less than a 3.25 cumulative GPA are advised to submit a GMAT or GRE score. Your admissions application serves as your application for all merit funding opportunities.

Duquesne's Office of Financial Aid provides support for securing student loans. Part-time, on-campus student employment opportunities are available and the Office of Career Services serves as a resource for finding part-time jobs with regional employers.

**The GMAT or GRE may be required to be considered for fellowships and/or graduate assistantships.
