Biography

Laura M. Crothers is a Duquesne Professor of school psychology in the Department of Counselor Education and School Psychology at Â鶹ֱ²¥. Crothers, who is a nationally-certified school psychologist, has been recognized as a national expert in childhood bullying by the National Association of School Psychologists. She teaches the graduate-level consultation and program evaluation seminars in school psychology at Â鶹ֱ²¥.

Crothers has contributed to the source literature by studying bullying in children and adolescents. She has completed over 100 manuscripts and monographs, co-authored or co-edited books, and book chapters. In addition to her scholarly writing, Crothers has delivered lectures and conducted presentations regionally, nationally, and internationally. Crothers serves on several editorial boards for professional journals. Finally, Crothers has an h- Index that places her at the 90th percentile for all doctoral-faculty serving in school psychology programs in a national study (Watkins & Chan-Park, 2015).
